Psychoeducational workshops for parents
What Do Our Workshops Offer?
We offer workshops for parents and caregivers who wish to expand their knowledge on child development, effective communication, and supportive parenting strategies. These workshops are designed for both parents of neurodiverse children and those with neurotypical children. Each month, we organize workshops on different topics. To find out what we are currently planning, please check the CALENDAR section.
- Understanding Child Development: During the workshops, we explore the stages of child development, both physical and emotional, to give parents a deeper understanding of the needs and challenges they may encounter at different stages of childhood.
- Effective Communication Techniques: Learning effective communication techniques is crucial for building healthy family relationships. We cover communication strategies that help manage conflicts, express emotions, and build strong connections with children.
- Behavioral Problem Solving: We support parents in addressing parenting challenges such as difficult behaviors, discipline issues, and negative behavior patterns. We discuss effective methods for managing behavior and promoting positive habits.
- Parental Self-Care: Raising a child can be demanding, so it's important for parents to focus on their own mental and physical well-being. We discuss self-care strategies that help parents manage stress and maintain balance in family life.
- Social Support and Support Networks: We encourage parents to build social support networks and utilize family support systems. We discuss the importance of relationships with other parents and the benefits of participating in parental support groups.
